Welcome to my website

This is the home for my projects — an alternative to your social media feed, straight from the dungeons of yesteryear. My name is Pekka and I'm very much into visual arts, photography, reading, writing, bikes, music and outdoors. The website site is brand spanking new, and much updates are to follow, but you'll already find some pics of my bikes and some music. :)

As an 80's and 90's kid, I wanted to create something (this website) that would take me back to that time — the time before algorithmic social media, influencers, artificial intelligence and all that crap. This website is a celebration of old school tech and geniune creativity. Social media never felt like a good platform to share creative projects. It might not be 1995 anymore, but we can still appreciate the old school mentality. I remember making my first website in the late 1990's. It was such rich time in creativity, even though slightly rough around the corners. Today everything has been smoothed out and automated, thus soulless. I remember the sheer excitement of creating something myself and sharing that with a small group of friends without social media. This is my attempt of recreating that experience.
